Anjasmoro Variety Using Gamma Radiation Co-60 2024-09-05T13:03:57+00:00 Tesa Beliya tesabeliya@gmail.com Violita tesabeliya@gmail.com
This study examines the utilization of gamma radiation, particularly from the Co-60 source, for mutation breeding in soybean plants (Glycine max L.), with a focus on the Anjasmoro variety. Gamma radiation has the capability to induce genetic mutations that can enhance genetic diversity and desirable traits in plants. The determination of optimal radiation doses, indicated by Lethal Dose (LD) values, is a critical factor in the success of mutation breeding. LD50 and LD20 are often used as parameters to evaluate the effectiveness of induced mutations. The Anjasmoro variety is known for its superior characteristics, such as tolerance to waterlogged conditions, high seed yield, and elevated protein and fat content. The application of gamma radiation to this variety aims to further improve the productivity and quality of soybean crops in Indonesia.
2024-09-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Microbiotech https://microbiotech.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/mcrobio/article/view/49 Articel Review : Metode Deteksi Human Papillomavirus (HPV) 2024-09-05T13:04:37+00:00 Revita Sari sarirevita63@gmail.com Afifatul Achyar sarirevita63@gmail.com
2024-09-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Microbiotech https://microbiotech.ppj.unp.ac.id/index.php/mcrobio/article/view/47 Article Review : Acid Stress in Soybean (Glycine max L.) 2024-09-05T13:02:58+00:00 Nia Daniati niadaniati3112@gmail.com Violita niadaniati3112@gmail.com
This study aims to identify soybean varieties that are adaptive to acid stress and evaluate the effect of acid stress on soybean growth and yield based on parameters such as plant height, number of nodes, dry weight, number of pods, seed weight, and root weight. The method used is a literature review using Google Scholar and Google Books databases. The results showed that acid stress significantly affected several growth parameters, such as plant height and dry seed weight, with the highest results on soil with a pH of 6. However, acid stress did not significantly affect the number of branches and root weight. Additionally, the inoculation of Rhizobium sp. and phosphate-solubilizing bacteria did not significantly increase soybean production in saline soil. The conclusion of this study suggests that developing soybean varieties tolerant to acid stress is crucial for improving soybean productivity in acidic soil conditions.
2024-09-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Microbiotech
