The Lepidoptera order is an order of insect with a high number of species, around 160,000-180,000 species in the world. The Lepidoptera is divided into Rhopalocera (butterflies) which are active during the daytime and Heterocera (moths) at night. The study of the Heterocera, especially Microlepidoptera, is very limited on the island of Sumatra. The present study was conducted in Korong Asam Pulau, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra. The Microlepidoptera was collected by using the Light Sheet Trap. A total of 3 families, 9 Genera, 14 species, and 18 individuals were collected in the present study. The most commonly found family is Crambidae (8 species and 5 genera) then the followed by the Geometridae and Noctuidae families with 3 species and 2 genera, respectively. Based on Result of the present study, we assumted that the Asam Pulau a good habitat for moths, especially of the Crambidae.
