Hermetia ilIucens commonly known as the Black Soldier Fly has a life cycle phase that produces larvae commonly referred to as maggots. The growth of BSF maggot is strongly influenced by nutrients in the feed media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the best type and combination of organic materials on maggot growth. This research was conducted experimentally using the RAL (Completely Randomized Design) method consisting of 3 treatments and control (no treatment). Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained P1 with a combination of bran feed and chicken intestines (50%: 50%) and P3 with a combination of bran feed, chicken intestines and vegetable waste (50%: 25%: 25%) provide the best growth for maggots. While K as control with bran feed (100%) and P2 with a combination of bran feed and fruit waste (50%:50%) gave lower maggot growth. This combination of different feeds also results in residual results in the form of kasgot which has a different pH so that it can be seen that maggots can live and grow in the pH range 3-6. This study shows that the combination of feed media can affect the growth of BSF maggots and the pH of each residue
